Job summary

Evolve Recovery Center in Massachusetts is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide general care for patients admitted to the facility. The APN/ARNP will perform histories and physicals within 24 hours of admission and collaborate with the Medical Director to develop health care plans and goals.

You will prescribe medications, conduct psychiatric evaluations, order labs, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license with psychiatric certification.
• Substance abuse experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform History and Physical for all patients within 24 hours of admission
• Perform Psychiatric evaluations
• Order and interpret lab tests
• Prescribe non-controlled medications and controlled substances
• Provide education related to medical issues and detox
• Provide compassionate support through all process phases
• Work with multidisciplinary team to discuss, access and resolve patient problem

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Job description:

The APN/ARNP is responsible for providing general care primarily for patients admitted to the facility. This position performs physical examinations and works closely with the Medical Director to develop the correct health care plans and goals for current patients.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Duties/Responsibilities:

• 5 8 hour shifts per week

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Compensation:

• Hourly rate competitive with experience and location
