Job summary

Guidelight Health, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a part-time, fully benefits-eligible W2 role onsite in Denver, CO.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, manage medications, and provide therapeutic support within our PHP/IOP programs, collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to deliver holistic care. The position requires a MSN and PMHNP-BC or PA licensure, current unrestricted state licensure, and at least one year of prescribing

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Minimum one year of experience prescribing medication.
• Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, psychiatric medications, and treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to manage complex cases and respond effectively to crisis situations.
• If eligible based on licensure status and applicable state regulations, must be willing to provide formal clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians as part of Guidelight’s supervision program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for patients in the PHP/IOP programs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric assessment findings.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Provide ongoing medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Work closely with therapists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate care for patients.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed, particularly in a PHP/IOP setting.
• Participate in clinical team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning discussions.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment in accordance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards for the delivery of psychiatric services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based practices and advancements in psychiatric care.

Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Reports to: Executive Director

Location: 100% onsite in Denver, CO.

Schedule: This is a part-time, fully benefits eligible W2 position. Clinical hours are ideally Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 3:00 MST, with one hour of rounds and one hour of direct supervision with the psychiatrist each week. Hours are expected to increase as census continues to grow.

Role Summary

Pay Range

$55.17 - $81.86 USD
