Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team supporting the Peekskill and Beacon sites.
A Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric clinical services for patients and performs job duties in compliance with systems and job specific standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Education Requirement: Masters Degree
Minimum Licensure: Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and CPR/BLS
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of diagnostic and treatment procedures that nurse practitioners are trained to do and are necessary for practicing in health care centers.
- Competence in delivery of health care to patients (including preventative health education).
- Ability to collaborate with other members of the Health Center in order to maintain high quality standards and achieve client satisfaction.
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally and written) is preferred.
Job type: part-time
Hourly salary: $81.91 - $85.87/ hour
