Job summary

Deep Centered Mental Health in Austin is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who values integrative care. The role focuses on comprehensive evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and interventional treatments such as Deep TMS and Spravato.

You will join a collaborative team with 60-minute evaluations, flexible follow-ups, strong administrative support, no nights or weekends, and a competitive salary of $140k–$155k plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice in Texas with an unencumbered DEA number.
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Minimum of 2 years post–board certification experience as PMHNP.
  • Experience with psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults/adolescents.
  • Clinical exposure to Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is required.
  • Familiar with EMR systems and videoconferencing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor responses.
  • Provide integrative care including medication, psychotherapy, lifestyle approaches, and interventional treatments as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
  • Collaborate with therapists and clinicians to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.

We are growing our outpatient psychiatry practice in Austin and are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who values an integrative approach to care and enjoys being part of a highly supportive, collaborative clinical environment.

Deep Centered Mental Health is an outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy practice built to support thoughtful, high-quality care. We emphasize an integrative approach—bringing together medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle medicine, and advanced interventional treatments, including Deep TMS and Spravato®—to help our clinicians deliver meaningful outcomes for their patients. We remain grounded in evidence-based care while staying closely engaged with the evolution of psychiatry and advances in neuromodulation. Our model is intentionally designed to support both clinicians and patients, with longer appointment times, reduced administrative burden, and seamless collaboration with more than 220 in-house therapists, creating a truly collaborative and supportive clinical environment.

Your Role
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnose and treat mental health conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor treatment response
  • Provide integrative psychiatric care, incorporating medication management, psychotherapy, lifestyle approaches, and interventional treatments as clinically appropriate
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies to support their care
  • Collaborate closely with therapists and other clinicians to coordinate patient care
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with applicable clinical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in clinical consultation and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice in the state of Texas with an unencumbered DEA number.
  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Minimum of 2 years of post–board certification clinical experience practicing as a PMHNP (this is not an entry-level or new graduate role).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and/or adolescents.
  • clinical exposure to Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) required
  • Comfortable with EMR systems and videoconferencing tools
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, ethical, and solution-focused approach
