Job summary

Milestone LLC is seeking a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to clients with mental health disorders. You will perform assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor patients’ health while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will facilitate group and individual counseling, educate clients and families on mental health topics, and maintain meticulous documentation of interventions and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing.
• Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and medication management.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

• Provide consultation to supervisors; perform other duties as assigned.
• Complete and submit initial prior authorizations and continued stay reports.
• Submit prior authorizations and continued stay reports in Notable.
• Facilitate clinical training to employees monthly.

Job description

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse at Milestone LLC, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to clients with mental health disorders. You will be responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring clients' mental and physical health status. Your role will also involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive appropriate and holistic care throughout their treatment journey. In this position, you will facilitate therapeutic groups and individual counseling sessions, provide education to clients and their families on mental health topics, and support clients in developing coping strategies. You will maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions, client progress, and outcomes while adhering to ethical standards and best practices in psychiatric nursing.

• 1.?????? Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
• 2.?????? Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
