Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in NJ.
• Board Certification as a Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to determine treatment appropriateness.
• Collaborate on individualized care plans and monitor treatment progress.
• Oversee and administer Spravato (esketamine) treatments as per guidelines.
• Monitor patients during treatment sessions for side effects.
• Educate patients and families on Spravato therapy and other options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Work closely with other healthcare providers for coordinated care.
• Provide interventions for psychiatric emergencies during treatment.
• Advocate for patient needs with a compassionate approach.
