Job summary

The Nurse Practitioner at RWJBarnabas Health provides primary and psychiatric health care as part of the IOP Treatment Team. The role involves assessment, diagnosis, medication management and collaboration with physicians to support admission, treatment planning and discharge decisions.

This full-time position is based at two sites in Somerset and Bridgewater, NJ, with day shifts, M-F 9a-5p, and a salary range of $125,000 to $195,000 per year; NJ licensure and PMHNP certification required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• APN license and PMHNP certification.
• Registered Nurse with NJ state license.
• CDS and DEA certifications.
• CPR and BLS certifications.
• Three to five years of professional nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care through assessment, diagnosis, and management.
• Psychiatric health care via evaluation, medication management and education.
• Collaborate with physicians on treatment planning and discharge decisions.
• IOP/outpatient NP responsibilities within behavioral health settings.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
