Details:

• Setting: Government facility serving an underserved patient population in Port Isabel, TX
• Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide psychotherapy and medication management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
  • All patients are aged 18 and above
• Schedule: Part-time - 20 hours per week

Minimum Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from a US-based school or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school recognized by NCFMEA or ECFMG
• Completion of 4 years of medical specialty training leading to board eligibility or certification in psychiatry
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed practicing psychiatrist
• Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
• Active Texas medical license
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
