Job Opportunity: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Non-profit organization in Manhattan is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a split role within their 80-bed women's shelter and 54-unit residential program.

1. Work Schedule: 21 hours/week in the shelter and 14 hours/week in the residential program, totaling a 35-hour work week. Flexible daily hours and weekly schedules are available, with programs operating Monday through Sunday. The schedule can be structured as a 4 or 5-day workweek.
2. Responsibilities:

• In the shelter, see women aged 45+ with histories of schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorders, major depression, and bipolar disorder. Patients are generally stable, with an average length of stay of 1-1.5 years. The caseload is approximately 8 patients per day, with 1-2 new intakes.
• In the residential program, see men and women aged 18+ with backgrounds of homelessness. The caseload is approximately 6 patients per day, with 1-2 intakes per month.
