Shifts: Days (Mon-Fri)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Psychiatrist to work in an outpatient clinic located in Montgomery, AL.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct medication management sessions, psychiatric evaluations, and assessments.
2. Create and update patient treatment plans.
3. Perform patient and family education, participate in team and unit meetings, and develop discharge plans.
4. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
5. Oversee medical residents and fellows working on the unit.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Psychiatry is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a psychiatric clinic.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Valid Medical License to practice in Alabama.
• Active DEA License.
