Interventional Psychiatrist Opportunity in Las Vegas, NV

Join our team caring for our nation's veterans in Las Vegas, NV! Major duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Providing direct patient care in an outpatient mental health setting, with certain interventional procedures performed in the PACU/Special Procedures Unit.
  2. Collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary care team, working with physicians, psychologists, social workers, LMFTs, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, Clinical Pharmacy Practitioners, nurses, and support staff. Ensuring high-quality, efficient care and effective team collaboration.
  3. Maintaining competency in all aspects of psychiatric care, including ECT, Esketamine, Ketamine, and TMS. Staying updated on medication management, adverse reactions, and their treatments.
  4. Accurately documenting patients' medical histories and psychiatric treatment courses.
  5. Participating in on-call responsibilities for the inpatient unit, primarily from home, with occasional weekend or holiday coverage when inpatient staff are limited.
  6. Engaging in interventional psychiatry clinical research to enhance clinical care.
  7. Teaching psychiatry residents.
