• Located 110 miles from Lexington, KY
• Service area: 30,000

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent opening
• Hospital-employed position
• 100-bed Psychiatric Center: designated State acute mental health facility for a 21-county region
• Inpatient care is provided for adults 18 and older
• Flexible schedule: Physician can do inpatient and outpatient work
• At least two physicians on at all times
• Two midlevels on at all times
• Average length of stay varies by unit, ranging from 3-8 days
• A dual diagnosis unit, geri psych, and general psych unit are currently open
• Patient Census: 11-14 per day
• Share moderate call
