Job Description

A Chambersburg-based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychiatric physician to join a collaborative outpatient practice. The ideal candidate should value evidence-based medicine and be comfortable treating patients of all ages. This role involves collaboration with staff, including leading mid-level providers and nursing staff.

Required Qualifications

• PA medical license as an MD or DO
• Completion of an approved residency program
• Board certification or eligibility in family practice
• PA DEA certificate before start date
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct primary care to patients of all ages
• Develop clinic protocols and procedures to ensure quality care
• Participate in utilization and peer review programs to evaluate medical staff and services
• Supervise and consult with physician assistants and nurse practitioners
• Provide telephone consultation services to practitioners as needed
