Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Nurse Practitioner for Psychiatry to work locum shifts in Billings, Montana (MT). Starting in July 2025 with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Psychiatry Role:

• Psychiatry locum role - provide psychiatric emergent assessments in the Emergency Department. NPs may admit to the observation unit (PSU) and are responsible for the care of patients in that environment
• Monday nights from 7p-7a. Possible vacation and sick call coverage . Shifts are 7 days per week, 7a-7p or 7p-7a.
• Psychiatry role - Disposition for admission to the inpatient psychiatric units
• Volume ranges from 4 - 8 adult patients
• Cerner

Requirements of the Psychiatry role:

• MT state license; active, unrestricted
• Board certified
• Certifications BLS
• 2 year of Psychiatry NP experience
