Psychiatry Opportunity in the Austin Metro Area

Join a growing Community Health Center with a team of 30 Behavioral Health providers. This outpatient position offers the chance to work with underserved populations in a vibrant community.

Location Details

• Austin metro area, 5 miles to downtown Austin, 10 miles to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
• Additional locations include Round Rock (10 miles), downtown Austin (30 miles), Waco (75 miles), and Killeen & Temple (45 miles)
• Located in a top 10 American small city to live in

Position Details

• Type: Outpatient
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
• Patient Load: 14-18 patients/day
• Appointments: 1-hour initial, 25-minute follow-up, 20-minute crisis
• Work Model: In-person with virtual options after initial 90 days; after 6 months, 2 days in clinic and 3 days virtual
• Participate in after-hours telephone coverage 1-2 times/year, 1 week each time
• EMR: NextGen
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required
