Job description

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate includes malpractice and weekly pay! Paid travel coverage.

Location:

Anchorage, AK

Opportunity:

Locums seeking a Psychiatry provider for full-time inpatient consult liaison work. The site will consider providers who can obtain a temporary AK license (processing time: 5-6 weeks).

Start date: June 1st, 2025 - ongoing. Inpatient overnight call may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Support inpatient teams in the psychiatric emergency room
• Provide consult liaison services
• Potential coverage for the Mental Health Unit (MHU), which involves 7 days on and 7 days off with overnight call
• Work with both child and adolescent populations

Requirements:

• EMR system: Epic
• Board Certified in General Psychiatry
