Kids First in Rockland County, NY seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and collaborate with family-centered care teams to support children and adolescents.

Qualifications

• Licensed PMHNP in New York State
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up care
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations in collaboration with families and treatment teams
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other pediatric providers to ensure coordinated care
• Provide psychoeducation and support to parents/caregivers
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Kids First is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Rockland County, NY, providing comprehensive services including behavioral health, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team and provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for children and adolescents.
