Job Summary:
Nurse Practitioner leverages administrative support in addition to delivering patient care services through virtual technology. The ratio of work is dependent upon patient demand. You will work in collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals as you independently provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. Encounters are documented utilizing an electronic health record (EHR). This role reports directly to the Minute Clinic Virtual Care SPM.
Responsibilities:
- Patient-Centered Quality and Safety
• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients, in addition to providing healthcare education and counseling, and disposition planning for patients aged 18 months and above.
• Provide patient counseling, including pregnancy prevention, STI prevention/safer sex practices, contraceptive care counseling, and medication management.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries.
• Document all patient care within an EHR according to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues, including the broader patient-centered medical home, to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Work effectively within a patient care team, including Providers, Collaborative Physicians, para-professionals, Pharmacists, and other healthcare team members. - Customer Service Excellence

• Assist with hiring, development, and evaluation of practice staff.
• Manage clinic operations such as inventory, lab results follow-up, and supplies. - Business Acumen
• Manage business needs including budget, payroll, inventory, billing, and collections.
• Implement practice-level business plans to meet goals.
• Ensure accurate payment collection through proper documentation and verification.
• Handle revenue cycle tasks, including payment collection and deposit preparation. - Autonomy
• Work independently, prioritize, solve problems, and advocate for patients.

• Maintain professionalism and self-awareness.
• Complete continuing education as required.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of relevant medical experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High-speed internet connectivity (at least 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload).
- Unrestricted license in at least two states, with ability to obtain multi-state/compact privileges.
- Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to work autonomously.
- Proficiency with information management and technology.
Education:
Completion of a Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
Candidates must be licensed in at least three states: DC, DE, FL, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, OH, RI, VT.
