Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our clinician‑led, APA‑approved behavioral health team in the community. This role offers a Monday‑Friday schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM with no nights, weekends, or on‑call requirements.

Salary ranges from $100,000 to $180,000 annually, with fee‑for‑service or salaried options, and benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401(k).

Qualifications

• MSN – Psychiatric/Mental Health; ANCC PMHNP certification is required.
• Active DEA license is required.
• Experience in psychotropic medication management.
• 2+ years of experience is required; Family NP with 3–5 years of psych experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff).
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders.
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.
