CHE Behavioral Health Services in Murrieta, CA seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. No nights, weekends, or on-call; create your own Mon-Fri schedule and manage a reliable caseload.

You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe psychotropic medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to distinguish psychological from physiological disorders.

Qualifications

• Must hold MSN - Psychiatric/Mental Health and ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license.
• Experience in psychotropic medication management; minimum 2 years.
• Family Nurse Practitioners with 3-5 years of psych experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff).
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders.
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases.

Requirements
