ACCESS Family Care is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrated behavioral health team in Joplin, MO. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to improve outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing, Missouri APRN licensure (or eligibility), PMHNP-BC certification, and the ability to prescribe psychiatric medications.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Missouri APRN licensure or eligibility.
• PMHNP-BC board certification.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic mental health conditions.
• Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychiatric medications.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, case managers, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient outcome initiatives.
• Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed.

As a PMHNP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and supporting patients with mental health conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
