Job summary

CHE Behavioral Health Services is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join its clinician-led, APA-approved behavioral health team. Since 1995, CHE has served 100,000+ patients across 800+ facilities in 11+ states.

The PMHNP will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe psychotropic medications, and collaborate with an integrated care team. Flexible schedule with Mon–Fri hours, no on-call, and a steady caseload.

Qualifications

• MSN – Psychiatric/Mental Health with PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license is required.
• Experience in psychotropic medication management.
• 2+ years of experience required; family NP with 3–5 years considered

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with an integrated care team (psychiatrists, psychologists, LCSWs, nursing staff).
• Distinguish and diagnose psychological vs. physiological disorders.
• Consult on complex or unusual clinical cases
