Job summary

Newport Healthcare in Kirkland, WA seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to lead psychiatric care for a dedicated caseload in a residential treatment setting. You will conduct evaluations, prescribe medications, order labs, and educate clients and families to ensure safe, effective treatment and continuity of care.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Nursing, PMHNP licensure, a current DEA license, and 3–5 years of experience with adolescents/young adults.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Licensed and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• Current DEA license required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Psych NP experience with adolescents and young adults.
• Experience in residential or psychiatric treatment settings preferred.

What Makes You a Great Fit

What you will bring:

• Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required.
• Licensure: Licensed & Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice.
• DEA License: Current DEA license is required.
• Experience: A minimum of at least three 3-5 years of Psych. NP practice experience and working with adolescents & young adults required.
• Preferred Experience: Experience working with clients in a residential or psychiatric treatment setting is strongly preferred.

Salary range for this role is $165,000k - $185,000k, based on years of practice experience and education.
