Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in nursing with APN licensure.
• Authorized to prescribe psychotropic medications.
• Experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment planning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations across lifespan using biopsychosocial histories, DSM diagnoses.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications; order/interpret labs and studies.
• Assess and manage psychiatric emergencies and high-risk presentations; coordinate care.
• Develop evidence-based, culturally responsive treatment plans and provide psychotherapy when within scope.
• Provide psychiatric consultation to physicians and teams on complex cases.
• Maintain accurate, compliant psychiatric documentation and participate in program evaluation.
