Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide medical care for its Behavioral Health Inpatient Service during evenings and weekends. You will collaborate with psychiatric residents and attending physicians to deliver comprehensive patient care across the inpatient unit.

Candidates must hold NYS PA licensure/registration and NCCPA certification, with a strong interest in serving psychiatric patients and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• New graduates welcomed.
• Current New York State registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current New York State Physician Assistant License.
• Current certification issues by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Knowledge of basic MS Office Suite required.
• Candidate should have an interest in providing primary care to a psychiatric population.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care for our Inpatient Service on evenings and weekends in the Behavioral Health Department.
• Work closely with our psychiatric residents and attendings to provide medical care to our patient population.
• Provides medical coverage in CPEP as needed.
