Job summary

Tower Behavioral Health in Reading, Pennsylvania is seeking a Full-Time Inpatient Psychiatrist to provide coverage for our adult and adolescent units on weekends. This role offers collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a modern, state-of-the-art behavioral health facility.

Qualified candidates will have an MD/DO, board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry, PA license or ability to obtain, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain.
DEA registration or ability to obtain.
Interest or experience working with adult and adolescent populations.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for inpatient adults and adolescents.
Manage psychotropic medications and treatment interventions.
Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Coordinate care with nursing, therapy, social work, and medical staff.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
Provide clinical leadership and support for patient-centered care initiatives.
