Job summary

Freeman Health in Missouri is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support our Psychiatric Inpatient services. Located at Freeman East, the Adult Psych locked unit (42 beds) provides care for adults with acute psychiatric needs.

You will assess and plan care, implement interventions, and collaborate with the medical team to ensure safe, effective treatment, in line with the patient plan.

This full-time day shift (36 hours per week) requires a Missouri RN license or a compact-state license.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or compact-state RN license.
• If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse's state of residence.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical and psychosocial needs of the psychiatric patient and families.
• Plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner for the provision of safe and effective care.
