• Under supervision, conducts interviews and assesses psychological and social needs to determine urgency.
• Explains treatment options and develops action plans for therapy or counseling.
• Provides clinical case management for adults, adolescents and children in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Offers crisis counseling and adaptive strategies for emotional or psychiatric emergencies.
• Maintains written records and prepares reports and correspondence with clients, families, and other agencies.
• Provides telephone counseling, referrals, and participates in CQI and other departmental activities.
