Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Charge Nurse to oversee patient care and coordinate staff activities during day shifts. This role involves planning, directing, and evaluating care while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a current Ohio Nursing License, and be BLS certified, with a preference for candidates with at least 2 years of nursing experience. A flat rate premium of $50.80/hour applies for weekend shifts.
Day Shift 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 0.75 FTE, 30 hours/week (full time) Every Saturday & Sunday, and every other Friday.

The Charge Nurse plans, directs, and evaluates the overall patient care and functions in a particular area during an assigned shift. Serves as a role model to positively influence culture and work environment. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.
