Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Psychiatry to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Haitian Creole, comfortable with traveling between locations, and committed to providing high-quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage treatment plans.
  2. See a minimum of 20 patients per day in various clinical settings.
  3. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  4. Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in the EMR system.
  6. Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
  7. Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines in psychiatric care.

Requirements:

  1. Fluency in Haitian Creole (required).
  2. Active APRN or PA medical license (must be in good standing).
  3. Active DEA license for prescribing controlled substances.
  4. Malpractice insurance (must be active and maintained).
  5. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Psychiatry (preferred).
  6. Ability to travel between multiple locations as needed.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  9. Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
