Job summary

CBH Care is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric evaluations, health assessments, and medication monitoring within a crisis outpatient program. The role emphasizes collaboration with psychiatrists and adherence to electronic chart standards.

Must hold an MSN for APN with NJ Board of Nursing approval, NJ RN licensure, and CDS/DEA credentials, with at least three years of direct practice, including community mental health experience.

Qualifications

• MSN for APN and NJ Board of Nursing approval.
• RN license in NJ and Psychiatric APN license.
• CDS license in NJ and DEA certificate.
• Completed highest level of practice in related degree.
• Three years of direct practice experience, including at least one year in community mental health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive health assessments.
• Monitor medications and provide psycho-education.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and work within joint service agreements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic charts as per program standards.

Full Time Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

Performs psychiatric evaluations, comprehensive health assessments, medication monitoring, and psycho-education

Work as part of the staff team in a short term crisis outpatient program

Utilizes a wide range of treatment modalities with consumers

Must be able to adhere to the program’s standards for maintaining accurate and up to date electronic charts

Works collaboratively with psychiatrist according to joint service agreements.

Qualifications

MSN from an accredited university approved by the New Jersey Board of Nursing for APNs

Registered Nurse (RN) and Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) in the State of New Jersey

CDS in the State of New Jersey and valid Federal DEA certificate

Completed highest level of practice in the area related to degree

Three years of direct practice experience, at least one year in a community mental health setting
