Job summary

Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital, a 96-bed inpatient behavioral health facility in southwest Michigan, is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Admissions RN. The role supports admissions, assessment, pre-authorization, and coordination of patient care for adults with acute behavioral health needs.

Competitive hourly pay ranges from $36.00 to $54.29 per hour and includes a comprehensive benefits package through Acadia Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of clinical or observational experience.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation for admissions and complete medication reconciliation.
• Facilitate emergency transfers when needed.
• Review referrals for acuity and respond within policy timeframes.
• Conduct assessments to determine level of care and coordinate admissions.
• Perform initial pre-authorization for treatment and admission.
