Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Svc in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Registered Nurse for the Elm Unit (High Acuity Adults). You will perform the nursing process, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, educate families, document thoroughly, and supervise licensed staff.

This is an onsite role with weekend/holiday rotation and a $14,000 sign-on bonus. A Michigan RN license is required; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Psychiatric nursing knowledge beneficial.
• Clinical experience in psychiatric settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process and develop care plans with an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate nursing care for individuals and groups.
• Educate patients' families and provide discharge planning.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
• Document and report information according to policies.
• Provide clinical leadership and delegate staff assignments.
