Rolling Hills Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our behavioral health team. The RN provides direct patient care, ensures safety, and supports treatment planning with the physician and care team.

Responsibilities include monitoring staff assignments, documenting care, and educating patients and families. TN RN license, CPR, and HWC certifications are required or provided during training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Tennessee required.
• Nursing experience in behavioral health preferred.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
• CPR certification (training provided).
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Manage and assess patients; ensure environmental safety and crisis management.
• Direct implementation of behavior management programs and monitor staff duties.
• Train and educate staff, patients, families; document patient care in the master treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to maintain a therapeutic milieu.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provides medical management and assessment of patients; ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population; directs the implementation of behavior management programs and ensures consistent carry-through. Is responsible for making the patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitors their duties. The Registered Nurse provides training and education to staff, patients, families; documents patient care and ensures data is accurate and included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Works with the treatment team to provide consistently therapeutic milieu.

Shift Differential Rates: $4/hr nights, $3/hr weekend days, $7/hr weekend nights
