Job summary

Impact Health PC in Bangor, ME is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities within the Bangor area.

You will assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians, facility staff, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active PMHNP license/certification in Maine.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical mental health care experience.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Geriatrics, Hospital, Residential Care, or Outpatient Psychiatry preferred.
• Strong psychiatric assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical documentation.
• Ability to practice independently within applicable state regulations while working with an interdisciplinary team.

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
