Who We Are
University Behavioral Center of Orlando, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc. Our mental health facility offers safe and effective inpatient treatment to help individuals lead more productive and fulfilling lives. Located on a 14-acre campus in Orlando, Florida, the facility includes 112 licensed beds.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse or Milieu Manager to provide clerical and patient care activities for patients with psychiatric and substance abuse conditions.
• Manage behavioral problems through patient observation and de-escalation techniques.
• Facilitate education and activity groups.
• Participate actively as a member of the treatment team and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• At least one year of experience working in an inpatient hospital setting with patients aged 5-65+ years.
• Work hours: 12-hour shifts; day or night shifts available; rotating weekends.
