As a Psychiatric LPN, you’ll work alongside registered nurses, providers, and behavioral health professionals to help patients achieve greater stability, safety, and well-being.

Position Summary

Under the clinical guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll assist in delivering nursing and behavioral health care through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, medication administration, and patient education. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with physical, psychological, and social assessments and individualized treatment planning
Administering medications and implementing medical and mental health treatment plans in accordance with provider orders
Monitoring patients, taking vital signs, providing basic nursing care, and responding to physical and emotional needs
Documenting nursing encounters, patient responses, complications, and other relevant clinical information
Collaborating with registered nurses, providers, correctional staff, and other members of the treatment team
Supporting patient education, activities of daily living, infection control, and a safe, therapeutic environment

You’ll go beyond providing routine nursing care. You’ll offer consistency, compassion, and clinical support to patients navigating complex mental health challenges.
