Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the CC Adult Psych & Addiction Unit in Belle Mead, NJ. You will provide direct patient care in a collaborative setting and support achievement of desired health outcomes.

The position is full-time, day shift. Requirements include an NJ RN license, an Associate degree or nursing diploma, and BSN in progress with six months of relevant nursing experience or completion of the Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required.
• BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Develop and coordinate a patient/family-centered plan of care.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
• Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition.
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association Code for Nurses.
