Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Warren, MI. The position involves collecting blood samples by venipuncture and capillary methods, processing specimens, and maintaining accurate patient data.

You will travel to additional sites as needed and support administrative tasks while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience as a phlebotomist, with preferred phlebotomy certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Labcorp is seeking aPhlebotomistto work Warren, MI.

Work Schedule

8:00PM-6:30AM working 4 rotating days/week and every other weekend

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
