Job summary

DeKalb CSB is seeking a Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Specialist to join our recovery-oriented services. Under supervision, the specialist provides psycho-educational groups to promote socialization, wellness, self-advocacy, and daily living skills for individuals with persistent mental illnesses.

Responsibilities include group facilitation, care coordination, documentation in EMR, and collaboration with clinicians and family members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Peer Specialist Certification.
• Experience with individuals with persistent mental illness.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies recovery and person-centered care.
• Prepares and provides recovery-oriented psycho-educational groups.
• Manages caseload, coordinates care, and completes referrals.
• Documents contact via daily progress notes in EMR.
• Collaborates with clinicians, staff, and family members.
