Job summary

La Clinica de Familia is seeking a Non-Exempt PSR Transporter/Instructor in Southern New Mexico. The role combines driving members to appointments and leading daily instructional sessions based on a National curriculum.

The incumbent will support recovery goals, demonstrate strong communication, adapt to a multi-disciplinary team, and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, Education or related field, plus one year of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree in a related field plus two years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED plus four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport PSR members to and from home, program and appointments.
• Serve as instructor providing education and guidance from a National curriculum.
• Instruct daily activities and share materials related to treatment topics.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality and proper boundaries during transportation and sessions.

Job Summary

Provides a combination of duties related to both driving and instruction for the psychosocial rehabilitation program. The individual’s primary duties are associated with the transportation of the PSR members to and from home and the program including other appointments, social activities and community resources as needed. The individual’s secondary duties are as an instructor who will provide education and guidance to members of the PSR program. Encourages each member to fulfill their goals and functioning at their highest potential following a core set of principles and values. Individual will instruct and teach members on a daily basis providing materials and knowledge on various aspects of treatment and topics of interest from a pre-approved National curriculum. The individual will also fulfill duties related to transportation of the PSR members to and from home and the program including other appointments, social activities and community resources as needed.

Job Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Rehabilitation, Education or a related human services field from an accredited university and one year of relevant experience with the target population or
• Hold an Associate’s degree in a human services or related fields from an accredited university plus two years of relevant experience with the target population and functional areas taught or
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and four years of relevant experience with the target population and functional areas taught.
