About Us

BJK People's Health Centers provides comprehensive mental health services to children and adults in the northern and central parts of the City of St. Louis and North St. Louis City. A professional mental health staff serves a growing caseload of 2,800 patients, of which greater than ninety-five percent are chronically mentally ill and suffering from major psychiatric disorders.

Primary Duties

We have an immediate opening for an Engagement Specialist in our PSR Program in Children Services. This full-time position is responsible for providing safe transport for clients to and from our main facility, supporting clients with behavioral and developmental disabilities in our Children's program. The role includes providing support and structure to the Outpatient Program, coordinating services, group service delivery, case management, and engaging with consumers, parents, and clients through various communication methods and group facilitation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Health or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in behavioral health preferred
  • 1-3 years of driving experience preferred
  • Class E license required
  • Clean driving record with annual review
  • Must be team-oriented and able to work independently
