The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Patient Service Representative - Central Kansas Orthopedic Group to provide a friendly, efficient front-office experience in an ambulatory clinic. The Patient Service Representative - GB is responsible for creating a pleasant and seamless patient experience during all activities primarily related to the front office of an ambulatory clinic including patient registration, copay collection and point of service paperwork. PSR will be trained in check-out and scheduling to provide support as needed.

High School Graduate or GED.
Clerical, registration and/or customer service experience within a health care setting.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
Fluent English - Ability to read and write English.
Trains could include but are not limited to, blood borne pathogens, bodily fluids and bio-hazardous materials as it applies to your daily work environment.
