Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/Engineering/Cybersecurity.
• 10+ years in product security, vulnerability research, or related fields.
• Ability to analyze, reproduce, and safely write PoC exploits for complex vulnerabilities.
• Expert mastery of CVSS, CWE, CVE and risk prioritization frameworks (EPSS, SSVC).
• Experience leveraging AI/ML/LLM to scale vulnerability triage and automate deeper code analysis.
• Strong scripting skills in Python/Go/PowerShell.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex vulnerability investigations across Palo Alto Networks products and services.
• Serve as the definitive technical authority for vulnerability response.
• Drive the roadmap for next-gen PSIRT automation and tooling to scale identification, triage, and response.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers in advanced vulnerability handling and response methodologies.
• Collaborate with leadership across product, engineering, legal, privacy, and threat intelligence on high-stakes response strategies.
