Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator in Burlington, NJ to oversee patient flow, specimen collection and site operations. You will perform venipuncture, manage daily workflows and ensure accurate data entry and billing support in a fast-paced diagnostic setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year+ phlebotomy experience, and a proactive customer-service mindset. Travel to additional Labcorp sites may be required; leadership experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year+ experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report performance, compliance or staffing issues to supervisors.
• Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary.
• Address customer service related issues promptly and respectfully.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication among coworkers.
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team Burlington, NJ

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 545am-215pm, additional days and hours may be required

Job Responsibilities

• Promote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years or more of experience as a people leader

Additional Job Standards

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range

• Pay Range: $19-25 per hour

Benefits:

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. For more detailed information,
