Job summary

Glenn C. Marlow Elementary in Mills River, North Carolina is seeking a PSAM/PSPM Site Director to oversee all operations of the after-school programs. You will work closely with students, group leaders, parents and school staff to ensure smooth daily operations, billing, attendance and reporting.

The role is a 10-month, 32-hour workweek with full benefits. The ideal candidate will have childcare credentials, strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a school setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED, plus Childcare Credentials (EDU119).
• Willingness to earn Basic School Age Care, Playground Safety, CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Thorough knowledge of childcare practices and techniques; ability to work with children.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and first aid practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families and staff.
• Establish positive relationships and exchange information with children, families and staff.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director will over see all operations of the PSAM and PSPM program. Will work closely with the students, group leaders, parents and other school staff. Also, is responsible for posting reservations, attendance, charges and payments; reconciliation of monies received and CACFP/DSS reporting. Attend monthly Director meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
