Job description

JOB TITLE: PSAC Instructor - Part Time

SCHEDULE: We are seeking a casual on-call/part-time instructor responsible for instructing unclassified virtual courses via MS Teams. Courses are half-day sessions, four hours of instruction for five days each month. Courses run every other month, totaling 20 hours of teaching per month, with up to 10 hours of preparation in off months to review and update materials. The instructor will be online during the entire course to answer questions when not actively teaching.

LOCATION: Remote

CLEARANCE: MUST HAVE CURRENT Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph

EDUCATION: Minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; 10 years with an MS/MA; 7 years with a PhD. Will consider 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Provides dedicated virtual instruction and facilitation for NCSC-SSD.
2. Supports SSD training programs to train personnel across the IC, federal government, and private sector.
3. Administers experiential learning experiences and simulations.
4. Works with ISDs to revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements and update technical information.
5. Coordinates with Training Administrators on class arrangements, conducts, and facilitates training classes.
6. Keeps abreast of relevant technical knowledge, skills, and abilities.
7. Leverages innovative technology, methods, materials, and techniques to enhance course interactivity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Demonstrated expertise in personnel security adjudication.
2. Previous experience as an instructor in the Intelligence Community is preferred.
