Location: Illinois
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour (Weekly Pay on Friday)
Shift Schedule: 7 days a week from 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM (40 hours per week)

The Project Specialist will be responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet (including stripping, waxing, buffing, spot cleaning, extraction, deep cleaning restrooms and grouts, etc). The Project Specialist also performs special project work in his/her assigned area and is responsible for continuously training onsite staff on cleaning techniques to improve quality and performance. The Project Specialist works under limited supervision and in a collaborative relationship with other Building Maintenance team members. The Project Specialist is a representative and interacts with customers, store personnel and the public in a respectful and friendly manner. It will be essential that the Project Specialist supports and integrates Sizemore’s core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities.
The work environment is generally a climate-controlled interior environment with little or no natural light, involving exposure to a variety of cleaning products, with work performed at night and/or during early morning hours. Work also involves regular travel between stores during all seasons, in a variety of weather (including extreme cold and heat) and road conditions. Ability to regularly lift 45 pounds. Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors. Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors. Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products. Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
