University of Utah Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Division of Transplant Surgery as an Advanced Practice Clinician. The role provides inpatient care for kidney, pancreas, and liver transplant recipients, as well as general surgery patients.
You will participate in pre-liver transplant evaluations and multidisciplinary rounds. Responsibilities include 14 shifts per month of 12-hour length, postoperative care, and assisting in the operating room as needed.
PS Nurse Practitioner
The Advanced Practice Clinician (physician assistant/nursepractitioner) role in the Division of Transplant Surgery provides care to patients at the University of Utah Hospital. Individual will provide care for kidney, pancreas and liver transplant recipients, general surgery patients and will also participate in inpatient pre-liver transplant evaluations. This is an inpatient APC role. The Transplant Surgery service currently consists of 4 Attending Surgeons, 7 inpatient APCs and 2 outpatient APCs.
