Saint Martin’s University seeks a strategic and innovative academic leader to serve as the next Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. The position is a direct report to President Bill Brownsberger, who assumed office July 1, 2024. As the chief academic officer to the University, the Provost provides leadership in all academic matters and works collaboratively with the deans, faculty, staff and administration to further Saint Martin’s mission and vision.

Qualifications

The next Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is a practicing member of the Roman Catholic faith and will have knowledge of Catholic Intellectual Tradition, including Ex Corde Ecclesiae and Catholic social teaching. The Provost will have successful and progressive professional and leadership experience, and demonstrated experience in the planning and implementation of instructional programs (credit and non-credit), workforce development, academic support services, and course and program assessment. The Provost will also have senior level supervisory experience with strong mentoring and staff management, and academic credentials for a tenured full professor or equivalent.
